Marana | 85743 | Western Diamondback Rattlesnake | A customer called about a rattlesnake outside his front door. Initially, the snake was found slithering up the driveway. The homeowner attempted to quire it away from home with a long pool net, but the opposite happened. The snake ended up slithering in the corner near the front door and behind a wooden “Welcome” sign. When I arrived the snake was in the same place as told on the phone. It was quite defensive. I was able to capture without incident. I also did a courtesy inspection to look for any additional snakes. I found a Desert Nightsnake as well. I educated the homeowner about the nightsnake and he decided that the nightsnake could stay. No more rattlesnakes were found. End of report. |
