Peoria 85383 Sonoran Gophersnake This family recently relocated to a new home in the Peoria area. They had some workers laying new gravel in the backyard when they saw a large red and black snake. They immediately thought red touch black you're dead Jack. They told the homeowner this and the homeowner called us to come remove it. By the time I arrived the snake had disappeared. After looking for some time, I finally found the snake under some loose shingles that were on the ground. It was a four foot long gopher snake. They had looked at the patterning on the tail to identify it as a "coral snake."
