6:30 PM		 Marana 85658 Western Diamondback Rattlesnake 19" 4c Western Diamondback in garage. Customer called us despite the urging of his landlord to wait until tomorrow. Did a courtesy inspection and found a beautiful back yard that is mostly contained by high block walls. A section would need fencing where only a short wall exists with steel bars. One gate that would also need to be shored up. Customer will need a written estimate to present to his landlord and I suggested that a deciding factor , in the decision, could be that the property could increase in value with the snake fence installation. Try both phone and E-mail to set up a date and time for the estimate.

After moving storage bins on ground I was able to find snake. Confirmed it was in fact an atrox. Snake was immediately captured and placed safely in bucket. I searched area very thoroughly with no finds until the end. I flipped a piece of tin and found a coachwhip. I explained the benefits of having it around and she got over her fear and left it. When I arrived the garage was filled with belongings of residence because they had recently moved in. I went piece by piece searching through garage with no finds. Towards the end of my search the customer informed me they left the garage open for snake to get out starting at about 1030 in the morning giving the snake adequate time to flee from area. 2:00 PM		 Marana 85743 None Customer called about wanted inspection and possibly an estimate for fencing because his dog was bit yesterday by rattlesnake he had killed. On my search I found lots of great shade sources throughout yard, some of the plants were planted in the side of his rock pile in backyard. I gave advice that shade sources should be reduced. He had some fencing up that was correct diameter of mesh and height. But there were many sections that were not complete and the parts that were complete had breaches in them. I also found signs of active rodents near his fruit tree that had rotting fruit on ground. It was recommended that it may help to reduce rodents by picking up fruit and dog feces.no active snakes were found while at residence. But home was built on deeply covered wash and sightings may occur again. End of report.

Gophersnake was under rock where I had no mobility to get at it. I used a garden hose to flood snake out. Which was successful. Snake cane out of rock pile. I told customer I would not go under trailer but I told her I was willing to attempt to capture it still. When I arrived I inspected area under trailer from gap in skirting. I found the snake leaning against skirting near a hole leading under. Fortunately I was able to use my hook to essentially scoop the snake out from underneath and use my tong to place it in bucket. When I arrived for inspection snake had not been seen by customer. I immediately found snake near a rock with shade above and a drip system. Once snake was captured I continued the inspection. I told her about the large amount of shade making it easier for snake to hide in. I also explained that drip systems are a great water source for snakes. No signs of rodents were present. She seemed very interested in fencing quote. Very good customer who had already referred our company to several others in the subdivision. End of report.

There was an obvious lay. A good sized fencing job, though customer may want to wait a bit until a pool is installed.

7:30 AM		 Marana 85658 Western Diamondback Rattlesnake Customer called about large rattlesnake in backyard. When I arrived I was immediately directed to snake. The customers followed the steps they were told and snake stayed in back of the yard in corner near there snake fence. Once the snake was captured I searched the rest of the yard for other snakes and breaches in there viewing fence snake fence and 2 gates. One of the gates had a 3/4 inch gap that will not be able to keep young rattlesnakes out. Also in the back fence I found a couple different areas that looked to be pushed inward. The height of fence was correct and diameter of material was also correct. Most likely scenario was that the snake pushed up against fence part that was pushed in and slid through and was trapped in back yard. End of report.

When I arrived snake remained in same place without any movement. I immediately captured the snake utilizing my tongs. Once snake was placed in bucket safely I scanned the rest of yard. While searching with my flashlight underneath the porch the customer screamed and said it was on opposite side. I immediately rushed to area. I saw the snake and identified it as a Mojave rattlesnake. Once the snake saw me coming it attempted to flee underneath the porch again. Luckily I was able to capture the snake before it got underneath which would have made it difficult to get. End of report.

10:00 AM		 Marana 85743 Sonoran Gophersnake x2 Customer called about snake found in barbecue pit. He sent me a picture via cellphone. I identified the snake as a gophersnake. Although he was educated about the benefits of having a non venomous snake in yard he was still interested in a removal. When I arrived he told me there was a second one in same area sitting on top of outdoor mini fridge. I captured the larger of the 2 first without issue. The second moved off of fridge behind it. It then went into a different section of grill area utilizing holes on sides where wires go. It went into a drain pipe. I used a garden hose to flush the snake out. I was able to capture the second and placed it in bucket. Both snakes were released together immediately after. End of report.

I searched ins and outs of shed with no finds. I utilized the customers garden hose in attempt to flood suspicious area. No success. Her geographic range placed her in an area with a wide variety of species. She had to leave for work and wasn’t able to get a better picture so she decided for me to swing by and catch and identify it. When I arrived snake remained in same place. I able to easily capture it safely and place it in my bucket. The nightsnake was released immediately after. End of report.

3:00 PM		 Marana 85743 None Customer called about snake that crawled vertically into stucco wall on outside of home below window. When I arrived I was directed to the area. There was a small lip that went upward that I could see with my retractable mirror. I attempted to flood the area with garden hose. No success. I then used a metal coat hanger to get upward and agitate the snake to leave. No success. I was at the home for a good hour trying different methods to get it out but nothing worked. I told the customer to call if he noticed the snake leave. End of report.

Did a courtesy inspection and found a second Mojave coiled in ambush by side wall. 26" 7c. Call for an easy fence referral as the main entry to the back is the gate. Gaps on either side of the house between the wall and house will also need to be addressed.

6:00 PM		 Marana 85658 Glossy Snake 10" Glossy snake inside the home. Customer was extremely scared, but not so much so that he was able to toss a glue trap into the closet that the snake had crawled into. The glossy was caught in the trap and I was successfully able to remove and release it.

When I arrived snake was in same area behind a tiki statue near front door. I immediately captured the snake. I searched surrounding area with no more finds.
