The have a huge hole that goes from one side of the house to the other. I found the snake it was a 4ft western diamondback and while I was watering it out I caught another one. I was unable to catch the big one because it kept going further under the house. |

I lifted a bird bath and found a desert nightsnake. I explained the benefits of having a nightsnake on property and explained that they are harmless, but due to the customers deep rooted fear of snakes she felt more comfortable if I relocate the nightsnake as well. They do get rattlesnakes occasionally, typically outside of warehouse but recently they have been having loading gates open for shipments. No other snakes were found. When I arrived she directed me to the snakes area. She had it pin pointed underneath a tire jack. She did a great job keeping a visual of the animal and stayed with the snake testing her own fears. I believe Dave and I have given her a better understanding and respect for the animals but she still has fear of them. I immediately captured the snake with my tongs. Inspection was done throughly with no finds except for a large gophersnake shed under hole in concrete slab below an air conditioner. I searched and flooded different large pack rat nests. No success. I searched under all plants I could not see under including oleander and lantana bushes. The customer was told to keep those bushes trimmed so they would not be overgrown. The customer was educated about pack rats and there homes being utilized by rattlesnakes. He was also told to inspect drip systems that were not working properly. He enjoyed the inspection very much and said he learned a lot from it. He used ya because of our professional look from our website. End of report. |

Unfortunately the customer killed all the babies and attempted to get the mom but was not successful. He wanted me to check his yard and packrat nest he saw the mom at. I throughly went through back yard that was inclosed by fence. I then went on other side to the packrat nest. It was one of the largest I had seen. I used the customers garden hose for about 30 minutes flooding every part of the nest. No success. I then used tool and broke it apart looking for snakes. No success. I then searched and broke down 2 other packrat nests afterwards. No success in finding anything except some pack rats. I told customer to use a pest control company to help maintain rodent issue. I also advised him to trim or remove lantana bushes. End of report. |
