Last year he stepped on one and then figured out there were three more under this unit. He normally removes them himself but this one was just too big. I ended up watering the snakes out. He described what sounded like a long snake. He love in a town home complex which is set up like an apartment type. There was a bush by his walk way which the snake went in. I looked in the bush and found a quail nest. Behind his town home there is desert landscape and a golf course which I explained the snake most likely went back to.

It was odd because it was a large, gravid female, crawling across lethally-hot pavement on a hot day. If the description of events is accurate, this unusual behavior is likey due to other disruption by the workers, landscapers, or a botched relocation by another party.

About a week ago they found a dead neonate atrox in there pool. I searched the yard and didnt find anything else.

I opened the box and unclamped the poor snake. The snake was unharmed thankfully. I told the guy those traps are bad news so hopefully, he doesn’t use them anymore.

They are surrounded by desert and a mountain nearby. She had a rattlesnake by her front door a few days ago unfortunately she killed that one. She has a brick fence with three gates. Here back yard is pretty clean and trimmed up.

She is new from Indiana and is freaked out at the aspect of snakes. I thoroughly searched the backyard, the surrounding desert outside of her back fence, the A/C units, pool pump area, the inner courtyard, garage and all its cabinets, and the front yard shrubbery. No snakes were found but a fair amount of rodent activity was observed in the front yard. I advised to keep up on pest control and landscaping. Answered her questions but left the fencing questions for Jill who is scheduled to come tomorrow for a fencing estimate. I also explained that an inspection at this time of year is different than their peak season and she plans on another in the spring. I was there for just over an hour. She is interested in dog training and pointed her to Rattlesnake Ready.
