Possibly in the area because of rodents, also plenty of dense brush for cover. Customer stated they get rattlesnakes in the yard frequently, about twice a month, and is extremely interested in fencing. Good fencing lead.

Besides a few small bushes the backyard is very open. A few large drain holes and underneath side gate would be obvious pints of access. Also a lorge hole in wall to neighbors yard, rattlesnake was seen moving through this passage.

Snake wasn’t there but I figured it was just under the tarp. After pulling up many sections I as able to locate it. Helped rip out the rest of tarp area since that was one of the only real problem areas on the property. Looked over rest of property, no other snakes present.

There was a large hole so they put a camera and saw Javelina, opossums, and rodent come in and out. They decided to water it out to see what would come out. A giant bull frog came out then two rattlesnakes. They called us one got out of sight. I caught one and searched for the other with no luck. It was pretty dense back there with lots of holes everywhere.

I got that one and found another in there front yard under there house ledge by a water drip. I also found a gopher snake that was in a big hole on the side of there house in there back yard. And a sonoran desert toad both those stayed in the yard. They just have three gates and a brick wall. Yards well maintained but they do have a pack rat nest in there back yard and some other rodent activity. Across the street is a mountain and the open desert.

There yard is large but very little vegetation besides the garden. They have been having issues with rodents eating there vegetables. I assume the snake was there for the rodents and moist garden mulch that is very shaded.

The hole was facing the ground though, so when I went to flood the area out the water just drained out of the hole and couldn’t effectively flood the area. Did find 1 neonate coiled up nearby, caught and relocated. The mom diamondback was unfortunately killed by maintenance workers, also a kingsnake has showed up and the mom diamondback drove it off before the workers killed it. Told homeowner I’d go back if snake was seen in next 24 hours.

1:00 PM		 Scottsdale 85266 Western Diamondback Rattlesnake, Western Diamondback Rattlesnake, Sonoran Gophersnake, Coachwhip One of the rattlesnakes was hanging out by the front door by a Three large pots. When I got there the snake had gone under the pot. The pot was very very heavy. The homeowner had to tilt it while I looked under when he did that I saw a rattlesnake and gopher snake. The homeowner couldn’t lift it very long or high. As I was sliding the snake out the pot slipped and unfortunately squished the rattlesnake. It did not look like it would make it when I released it. The gopher snake he let stay. Then we tried to move the other two large pots next to it. We found a coachwhip which he let stay. There was also another rattlesnake. The same thing happened to the snake. He lifted it I grabbed the snake slide it out but before I got it out the pot dropped and unfortunately killed that snake it crushed its head. I released them anyway so hopefully the one will survive. The house has a brick fence with a gate a few drain holes and one little view fence area.
