Sun City 85373 Western Diamondback Rattlesnake The homeowner\'s son was jumping on his trampoline when he noticed a rattlesnake coiled up nearby. He calmly alerted his parents who then called us to remove the snake. The brick wall around the back yard was the only thing separating the home from the very large Agua Fria riverbed. There was plenty of dense, overgrown landscaping, stacks of wood and brick, and easy access to the front yard. The snake could have very likely spent the winter sheltered somewhere on the property. I did a thorough search but did not find any other snakes.

Sun City 85351 Mojave Rattlesnake The homeowner went to take out his trash last night and spotted the snake under his trash can. This is an underground trash can, so he was just under the lid. This morning he still spotted the snake under the lid so he gave us a call. It started to heat up in that time the snake must have tried to get into some deeper cover and it fell into the trash can, so it could not get out at that point. I was able to grab it and save a gecko that fell in as well. The home was right by a drainage that leads to the open river bottom.

Sun City 85251 Mojave Rattlesnake The homeowners pest person spotted the snake coiled by the back door and informed the homeowner. The snake was coiled right next to a lantana in a pot that had a quail and her eggs in it. I’m not sure if the snake was aware of mom or not. The home didn’t have much cover in the yard but was really close to the dry river bottom.

Sun City 85351 Sonoran Gophersnake The homeowner\'s dogs alerted them to a very large Gophersnake in a shaded area next to the home. The snake was bedded down on the ground under a dense canopy of recently watered plants. The home was situated near a golf course and not far from a dry riverbed. I searched the rest of the yard, which had some very nice DIY fencing blocking off drain holes around the wall, but the gate leading to the front yard had a huge gap underneath that a snake of any size could easily enter. I did not find any additional snakes

Stanfield 85172 Western Diamondback Rattlesnake The homeowner called stating there was a rattlesnake coiled up in her barn. When I arrived the home was located in a vast agricultural community, the snake was coiled up in the shaded open horse barn where the homeowner found it during feeding. The snake was bucketed and driven away from all other homes and private agricultural land to as nearby a natural habitat as possible a wash containing heavy amounts of natural trees and shrubs I found a deep shaded root system with holes going into it for the snake to get deep cover.

Sierra Vista 85615 None Customer had concern of area he loved at because of a few rattlesnake encounters he has had since moving in, in September. He wanted through inspection of his 3.58 acres, common walled in area and garage. I started in walled area. While I was inspecting I also photographed his gates and drainage holes to send to Jill for fencing info. No finds. There was very minimal amount of work needed to do in backyard. The acreage I surveyed had very tall brush. So I used transects experience and paced back and forward to front and of property line. I did find a couple snake skins but no active snake encounters. The garage last night had a rattlesnake in it, but this morning he had the fire department come out and catch the snake. Which was a Mojave rattlesnake. For the estimate the customer will need both gates done. 1 single and a double gate. He had a total of 9 drainage holes. 6 standard, 2 horizontal and narrow holes and 1 double hole. Also noticed 2 breaches in concrete wall. 1 on side near gate and the other near a drainage hole. The customer appreciated that we were able to go that south and had pleasant experience. End of report

Sedona 86336 Blacktailed Rattlesnake Received a call that a rattlesnake had been captured and placed in a snap top bucket by a neighbor. After driving to the location I learned the homeowner had put some small breathing holes in the lid of the bucket. Upon safely removing the lid the species was determined to be a Blacktailed Rattlesnake. Shortly thereafter the snake was relocated further along the same mountain the homeowners property resided under a concealed rocky overhang. Increased activity due to recent monsoon rains could potentially explain the snakes presence.

Scottsdale 85258 Western Diamondback and Coachwhip Karen had workers doing some yard work around her pool when they noticed a snake within her agave plant wedged between her pool and the fence. After taking a closer look, they noticed there were two: a coachwhip and a rattlesnake literally right next to each other. Karen also had snake fencing that was installed by the previous owner. Upon inspection, i noticed many areas where rats dug under that potentially created an entryway for the snakes.
