Anthem 85086 Sonoran Gophersnake The homeowner had snake fencing but it was not done by us. The snake fencing was not very effective, at the very least, because there was no fencing put on the sides or below the gate entering the back yard. While snake fencing doesnt prevent gophersnakes, the homeowner was very interested in having proper snake fencing for rattlesnakes installed throughout the yard. She asked for advice about preventing gophersnakes and kingsnakes from entering her yard and I explained how she could change her landscaping but that if it stays the same it provides great habitat, and also that they are harmless!

Anthem 85086 Western Diamondback Rattlesnake The homeowner had seen this rattlesnake visitor multiple nights in a row and it kept coming and going from the corner of their property. With small children and pets, they wanted this snake to vacate the property. When I arrived, the snake was in the front yard under a cactus. The property was wide open with desert on all sides. He was safely relocated into a packrat nest southeast of the home.

Anthem 85086 Western Diamondback Rattlesnake Homeowner called with a report of a rattlesnake moving near the front doorway. A bedroom window allowed the homeowners son to keep an eye on the snake until I arrived. Upon arrival I was able to immediately identify the snake as a western diamondback. On approach he immediately began a defensive posture. I was able to remove the snake without incident. A courtesy inspection of the front and rear yard was completed and no additional snakes were removed.

Anthem 85086 Western Diamondback Rattlesnake The homeowner called after seeing a rattlesnake on his shady front porch. It had moved slightly into some nearby landscaping by the time I had arrived. The home is far from any development and surrounded by mountainous, native desert. It is a large property with a lot of structure and landscaping, but no irrigation system. There is no block wall bordering the home and very surprisingly, he told me that this is only the second snake he's seen since 2018. The temperature of the shaded porch was significantly cooler than the ground just beyond. I did not find any other snakes.

Anthem 85086 Western Diamondback Rattlesnake Received a call regarding a baby rattlesnake front yard. Arrived at home and was greeted outside by customer who was keeping watch on it. I observed a small juvenile atrox against a landscaping boulder in the front yard. Snake had three segments on its tail. Customer stated he first saw the snake stretched out along the sidewalk and when he saw it the snake made its way to his front yard where it stayed against the boulder. Inspected the rest of the property and no other snakes found. Desert was ran along the backside of customers property with the nearest entrance being four houses east of his. I suspect the snake was just moving along when it was spotted and went into customers front yard. In conversation customer disclosed recent life circumstances and I did not feel offering snake fencing was appropriate at the time.

Anthem 85086 Sonoran Gophersnake The client called with a report of an unknown snake that was seen entering a PVC pipe by the pool equipment. I was able to see the head of the snake when I arrived and confirmed it was a Gophersnake. With the assistance of the homeowner, we were able to effectively push the snake out of one end of the pipe. No other snakes were recovered during inspection. The homeowner has some existing fencing installed by the previous homeowner, but he would like to have the fencing team out to fix some holes in the existing fencing.

Anthem 85086 Sonoran Gophersnake A tenant at an apartment complex called saying that he had seen two rattlesnakes in a common area near the front of his building. I arrived to find the man standing in front of a small bush. He told me that he had watched the snakes crawl into the bush and that he had been watching it ever since. I immediately saw that it was not two rattlesnakes but just one gopher snake. This was actually the second consecutive call for me, in which two rattlesnakes ended up being just one gophersnake. This apartment complex was in a heavily developed area near a busy intersection in North Phoenix, not far from I-17. It was also close to a large wash that led out into the native desert. I did not ask if he wanted to leave it, deciding that it was not a safe area for any snake to be.

Anthem 85086 Longnosed Snake The homeowner called about a snake in their closet. When I arrived, I found the Longnosed Snake curled up behind a plastic bin in the back of the closet. The snake was fairly large so it likely entered through an open door. Home is surrounded by patches of desert with equally spaced homes so plenty of wildlife around the area.

Anthem 85086 Sonoran Gophersnake Snake was on the back patio against the home underneath a rolling cabinet. The yard was previously sealed by us but we found no breach points or areas of concern with fencing. Did not seem interested in renewing the warranty, as they have not had any issues in the past 5 years.

Anthem 85086 Western Diamondback Rattlesnake This was at a facility in the middle of the desert. The workers noticed the snake cross the road in front of the entryway and wanted to get it out of there in case it got into the facility. A lot of desert habitat around this place.

Anthem 85086 Western Diamondback Rattlesnake A woman called from the parking area of an apartment complex after seeing a large rattlesnake. She was frantic and extremely worried about all of the people walking their dogs and kids playing nearby. This apartment was just off the I-17 in Anthem. A small drainage with native vegetation ran adjacent to the complex. When I arrived, I found the snake, which had just finished eating something quite large, headed towards deep cover in a patch of thick landscaping. This was a public space; the woman was very frightened and could not pay so I removed the snake for no charge.

Anthem 85086 Western Diamondback Rattlesnake The customer stated that they had earlier seen a large gophersnake in their fence. When the fence crew had been out doing some work following landscaping, it was brought to the customer’s attention that there was a likelihood of a snake getting into their yard due to the construction of a new house in the area and the landscaping. Snake was found in a fenced-in yard located in the rock wall fence they had built. The customer was particularly sensitive due to having been bitten at a previous home.

Anthem 85086 Western Diamondback Rattlesnake Western diamondback in backyard near grill area. This is somehow the first snake in 5-10 years in their backyard. Two brothers who live together. There is snake fencing that came with the house that looks unprofessional with many gaps and not adhered to the wall on the view fencing. Concrete block wall on the side of the house with one side gate (bricks piled underneath the side gate in an attempt to keep critters out). They would love a fencing quote as soon as possible.

0 Western Diamondback Rattlesnake Two ladies called me, saying they spotted a rattlesnake stuck to a sticky trap on their walk through the desert. They saw it the day before and said it was still moving this morning. They sent me a pin and I headed that way. The snake was in some desert on the edge of a community. The snake had probably gotten stuck to the trap in a garage and was tossed. I was able to safely get the snake off the trap with only minor scale damage that it will survive.

85264 Western Diamondback Rattlesnake This was at a rental property that does retreats surrounded by nothing but good desert habitat. Yesterday, when they were getting ready for an event inside, what used to be a garage area with garage doors, they spotted a rattlesnake between some chairs. She thought it was dead, so she just left it. Today, when they went to remove the snake because they’re having their event, they noticed it wasn’t there. It was coiled underneath the chairs, so they knew it was alive, and they called me to come and remove it. The garage doors did have some gaps where it could get in and there were areas within this garage that it could have hidden for the majority of the winter without being seen. The whole property was on a desert hillside with miles and miles of desert surrounding it.
