Thinking it was a rattlesnake, she gave us a call. When we arrived, it turned out to be a <strong>Sonoran Gophersnake<\/strong>, much to her relief. Even in neighborhoods with only small pockets of native habitat scattered between homes, these snakes can still show up while searching for food, water, or shelter.
