Normally I\u2019ll pick apart maps and habitat before a trip, but this time I ditched the prep and just stopped wherever the terrain looked good\u2014random pull-offs, backroads, and whatever canyon caught my eye.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It worked. I ended up finding Prairie Rattlesnakes, Banded Rocks, Blacktails, Ringneck Snakes, and a handful of other things.
