Austin tried to use water to get the snake out initially, since this can be a dangerous situation to work with. But that didn&#8217;t work &#8230; here&#8217;s what he said happened:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;This was a fun one. Landscapers said they saw a <a href=\"https:\/\/rattlesnakesolutions.com\/snakeremoval\/tag\/rattlesnake\/\" data-type=\"post_tag\" data-id=\"6\">rattlesnake<\/a> retreat under this pile of pavers. Tried watering the snake out at first and realized it had worked its way up into the stack of pavers. Very carefully began to unstack the pile until eventually finding the snake. Rather large Diamondback, I was surprised because I was told it was a \u201csmall snake\u201d. Might be the first time in history someone actually underestimated the size of the snake they saw. Anyway, hiked him back into the wildlife preserve and found a nice deep hole above a wash that looked like it was also home to some packrats.
